Course Overview
This program begins by teaching the grammatical basics through a simple Matn such as the Ajrumiyyah, where the student learns the parts of speech, the signs of I’rab, and the difference between the Marfu’at, Mansubat, and Majrurat. After mastering this level, the student can move on to advanced levels to study other Mutun such as Qatr al-Nada or Alfiyyah Ibn Malik.
The Nahw (Arabic Grammar) Programme focuses on practical application through the parsing (I’rab) of verses from the Quran and lines of poetry, to solidify the rules in the student’s mind. The Nahw (Arabic Grammar) Programme does not teach grammar as a dry science, but as a living tool for understanding meanings, and mastering it changes the way you read.
