Course Overview
This course takes the student on a virtual journey to the holy sites, where the explanation begins by clarifying the types of Nusk (Tamattu’, Qiran, Ifrad) and how to choose the most appropriate one. It then deals in detail with the actions of each day of Hajj, starting from Ihram and its prohibitions, then Tawaf and Sa’i, standing at ‘Arafah which is the greatest pillar of Hajj, staying overnight in Muzdalifah and Mina, the stoning of the Jamarat, and ending with the Tahlul (exit from the state of Ihram).
The Hajj Course focuses on the practical aspect, using illustrative pictures and maps of the holy sites to facilitate the student’s understanding of the rituals. The course also covers the reported supplications (Du’as) and remembrances (Adhkar) in each location of Hajj and provides important administrative and health tips for travelers. Course Aims and Objectives
This practical course aims to help the student achieve the following objectives:
- Understanding the types of Nusk and how to enter Ihram for each type.
- Knowing the pillars, obligations, and Sunnahs of Hajj and Umrah.
- Learning how to perform Tawaf and Sa’i correctly.
- Studying the actions of the day of ‘Arafah, the day of Nahr, and the days of Tashreeq.
- Knowing how to perform the stoning of the Jamarat and its rulings.
- Recognizing the prohibitions of Ihram to avoid them.
- Understanding the rulings of the Hady (sacrificial animal) and what is obligatory for the pilgrim.
- Memorizing the recommended Du’as and Adhkar in Hajj.
