What is Tajweed?
It means to beautify or to decorate. As a Juristic term it is a group of rules helps you to read the Quran correctly as it was revealed to Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him)
What is The importance of Tajweed?
Reciting the Quran with Tajweed means that you recite it with the same manner as it was revealed to prophet Mohammad ( peace be upon him) Reciting the Quran without Tajweed rules
may change the meaning of the Quran to the extent that it may give the opposite meaning of the verse,
for example this symbol means that you have to stop because if you continued your recitation it will give the opposite meaning of the verse
What are Benefits of studying Tajweed?
Reciting the Quran with Tajweed means that you will recite it in a beautiful and correct manner
which is very attractive to the listeners and makes the reciter has an eagerness to recite more surah of the Quran.
In addition, The Reciters of the Quran Will Be in the Company of the Noble and Obedient Angels.
‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, related that the Prophet (PBUH) said:
“Indeed the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels.
As for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward.”
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]This means that both the professional reciter and the learner will get great rewards.

What are The rules of Tajweed?
There are number of the Tajweed rules which are famous and popular like: Tanween, Izhaar, Qalqalah, Ikhfaa, Idgham, Iqlab, …etc. But to study these rules in a perfect manner you must practice them in your recitation
and to listen to the Quran form authorized Shaikhs like shaikh al Husary, Mashary, and many other shaikhs.
How can I study Tajweed?
To study Tajweed in a correct manner you have to study it from a professional shaikh who studied
the rules of Tajweed theoretically and practically,
so he will be able to explain the rules in an easy manner and correct you
when you make a mistake in you recitation as no one can detect him own mistakes.
In the past it wasn’t easy to study Tajweed as the person had to travel from a place to

In this course you will learn the rules of Tajweed which qualify you to recite the Quran properly as it was revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him). To reach to the utmost value of this course, it is divided into three levels:
- First level (beginners): is designed for those who can read Quran but they don’t know Tajweed. In this level students will study the basic rules of Tajweed such as Qalqalah and the rules of the static Nun and the Tanween.
- Second level (intermediate): is designed for those who can read Quran with basic Tajweed rules. In this level, student will cover an intermediate rules of Tajweed like the Madd rules and the Sifat of the letters.
- Third level (Advanced):is designed for those who can read Quran with very good manner but still need to complete the rules of Tajweed. In this level, student will cover advanced rules of Tajweed like (An-Nabr, Tafkheem / Tarqeeq etc.).
The aim of this course is to enhance tajweed knowledge of students at the same time improving their recitation style and making their tone sound like a Qari.
